John McCain a Republican?
05.10.05 (6:24 pm)   [edit]

John McCain urged Republicans to compromise on judicial nominees. Folks John McCain in not a Republican and is possibly the best weapon the Democrats have ever had.  While continuing to disguise himself as a GOPer he has given the left more firepower than they could have ever mustered on their own.   He goes against his party so often when they need his influence and votes that I cannot believe he actually has conservative views at all.  Either that or his need for attention is stronger than his desire for success of conservative ideas.

In a short I don’t trust the man.

He is a dandy. I believe he got addicted to the limelight and he will do what ever to stay in it. Don't believe I would put much trust in any of them. To change the subject ,played a lot of golf in my mind while staring thru the windshield this week, went out on the course today and couldn't seem to duplicate those beautiful shots I made in my mind:). Oh well----

And neither do I. Here's some interesting stuff on McCain by retired SF'er Ted Sampley: http://www.usvetdsp.com/mccainpg.htm

I have a lot of issues with McCain...

Ya know JB:::: I hate Politics....Maybe it's because when the asswipe that shoved my Young ass into LBJ's Bunker in Nam and interegated me for a coupla hours..He was probably a Republican...But might have been a Demoshit....Either way....The Government showed me that Day....For the 365 Days in Country I get a Tour of the Presidents Bunker and told How I'm gonna be an Upstanding citizen or they will throw my ass in Prison. and for what you say.....I bumped Heads with the Pentagon about some shit they had Lied to me about and WON.....So when ya Post about Politics...all I can say is...Don't trust any of them and could care Less.....
Bitter...I guess so......But all I did was my Job and the Government tried to shit on me......

It's not about trust it's about actions. What people actually do matters. Are all politicians crooks? probably to some extent. Who else would go into that field.

That's a good point about them being crooks. I think it's for a reason though. Politicians *usually* are the kids that were picked on and made fun of in school. They won't succeed in any manly profession, but they want power. They want to show everyone what they can do. Walaa! A politician is made. In order to keep that power/attention which is so important to them, they will do nearly anything...lie, cheat, steal. It's too bad.

"But all I did was my Job and the Government tried to shit on me"

Ah ha! My husband, a SEA Combat Veteran, had/has the same feeling. Till I came along, he refused to fly the Flag, refused to vote... I've been working on that and in fact got it corrected, but he felt.. for all these years, that the USG screwed him and his brothers-in-arms over. He watched his friends go down... heard the jump bell, saw the explosion... worked the SAR for the next 4 hours... those guys, they didn't come back...

He blames the USG.

And... McCain is no friend to the POW/MIA issue.
